Cookie policy

What cookies this website uses, why they are used and how you can change your preferences at any time.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. They are used to make a site work and to remember choices you have made.

Cookies this website uses

The Member Hub uses a single essential, encrypted, HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in while you move between Member Hub pages. It expires after seven days and is removed when you sign out.

The cookie banner stores your choice in your browser's localStorage rather than in a cookie. This is not sent to our servers; it simply remembers the choice you made so you are not asked again.

We do not use advertising cookies on this website.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website, so that we can improve it.

Google Analytics only loads after you have accepted analytics cookies. If you choose Essential only, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

When you accept, Google sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by a property identifier. These may be retained for up to two years and are used to distinguish visitors and sessions.

We use Google Consent Mode v2, and advertising signals are disabled.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops analytics measurement and removes the Google Analytics cookies.

Third-party services

Some pages include content and tools provided by other organisations. These services are outside our direct control and may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. When any such resource is requested, that organisation receives technical information such as your IP address and your browser and device information.

Our typefaces, Archivo and Source Sans 3, are hosted on our own website. They are not loaded from Google Fonts.

Enquiry, membership and booking forms are embedded from GoHighLevel. Displaying a form requires connections to GoHighLevel and its supporting infrastructure, including Cloudflare, and the form sets storage of its own inside the embedded form so that it can work.

The GoHighLevel embed also downloads a Facebook-hosted JavaScript library, even though Surrey Hills Enterprises has no Facebook Pixel configured. Our testing confirmed that this does not initialise a Meta Pixel, does not send any Meta tracking or event information, and does not create any Meta cookies or browser storage. Facebook's servers do receive the technical information described above when the file is requested.

Our AI-powered question assistant is provided by ElevenLabs. Nothing is loaded from ElevenLabs when you simply open a page: its resources are requested only when you choose to open or use the assistant, and using it involves information you provide being sent to ElevenLabs.

Member learning videos are embedded from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com mode. YouTube does not set its usual cookies simply because the Learning Library page is opened. Playing a video may result in YouTube using browser storage and receiving the technical information it needs to provide the video.

Changing your preferences

You can update or reset your cookie banner choice using the link in the footer at any time. You can also manage cookies and localStorage through your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of the Member Hub may not work as expected.
