Shooting Star Children's Hospices

Shooting Star Children's Hospices provides specialist care and support to families who have a baby, child or young person with a life-limiting condition, or whose child has died. It is Surrey's only children's hospice and also supports families in North and South West London.

Its hospice, Christopher's, is just outside Guildford and provides respite and end-of-life care. Support ranges from community nursing at home and specialist symptom management to family support and a bereavement service for any family in Surrey whose child dies.

The charity relies on the generosity of its supporters: for every one pound of funding it receives from government, it needs to raise two more, and its Specialist Bereavement Service receives no government funding.

Shooting Star Children's Hospices is the Charity Partner of Surrey Hills Enterprises. The partnership brings Surrey Hills Enterprises, our members and the wider community together to raise awareness, build connections and create opportunities to support an important local cause.

For our members, it is a straightforward route into supporting a Surrey charity through the network they are already part of, rather than in isolation.
